How It Looks/Smells/Feels

Even Tone Cleansing Bar - This brown-colored cleansing bar creates a lightweight lather with a soft tea tree and licorice scent.

Even Tone Super Glow Serum - This lightweight serum varies from light yellow to dark yellow/orange with a light citrus scent.

Cleanse with the Even Tone Cleansing Bar. Rinse thoroughly and gently pat skin dry. Eye sensitivity can occur; avoid directly cleansing the eye area. Then apply 4-6 drops of the Even Tone Super Glow Serum. Smooth over face and neck, avoiding eye area. Allow to absorb before applying additional products. Using daily sunblock that is SPF 30 or higher is recommended with this product. Shake well before use.

How can I keep my cleansing bar sponges clean?
The reusable sponges can be washed with laundry in a washing machine. We recommend washing them along with towels and letting them air dry. It is also important to let the sponge air dry after each use and not leave it inside the cleansing jar. If you need replacements, we sell additional sponges here on our website.

If I have sensitive skin should I use the Even Tone Cleansing Bar?
For sensitive skin, we recommend that you try our Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser. You could also try using this bar without the exfoliating sponge.

Is it normal for my skin to feel irritated, red or peel after using the Even Tone Cleansing Bar?
No. If you are experiencing irritation, redness or peeling, it could be caused by a few other things: you may be scrubbing too hard with the sponge, your skin is too sensitive for this cleanser, you are using this product with too many exfoliating products and/or not giving your skin enough hydration. We recommend that you try our gentler cleansing options, Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser or LacticGlow Micropolish Resurface & Brighten Cleanser.

Can the Even Tone Cleansing Bar be used on the body?
We recommend using the Clear and Even Tone Body Cleansing Bar for a full-body treatment.

Do I use this serum in the morning or at night?
You can use our Even Tone Super Glow Serum in the morning and/or night, however, we recommend for best results to use it in the morning.

What is the difference between Even Tone Super Glow Serum and Super C Serum Brightening Serum?
Even Tone Super Glow Serum contains 10% L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and is sold in a smaller size. Super C Brightening Serum is part of our Pro Strength™ collection and contains 20% L-Ascorbic Acid and is offered in a larger size. Both products are effective for improving the appearance of uneven skin tone.

Why is this serum a different color than my previous bottle?
Due to the high levels of antioxidants this formula can range in color from batch to batch. We chose not to hide these variations with artificial colors because the appearance of the serum has no impact on the effectiveness of the formula.

How long before I notice a difference in my skin?
Everyone’s skin is different, so results can vary. It is typical to see results anywhere between 6-8 weeks; however, some people experience results faster.

Are your products tested on animals?
